A young fisherman in Okinawa caught a mermaid one day. He was excited to bring her back to
his village to show everyone. The mermaid promised to give a secret of the sea if he let her go.
Since the mermaid was pleading with tears so much, the fisherman finally decided to let her go.
The secret was that the big Tsunami would come the next day. The fisherman successfully evacuated
all the villagers and saved everyone's life from theTsunami.
